Application for re-registration on a course at the Department of Mathematics

Read the information carefully before filling out the form

Note! If you are applying for re-registration on any of the following courses:

  • MM1003 Preparatory Course in Mathematics
  • MM1008 Challenging Mathematics
  • MM2001 Mathematics I

Do not use this form. These courses have their own forms, which you can find on the Re-registration page.

When do you NOT need to be re-registered?

If you were last registered or re-registered on the course in Spring 2024 (VT24) or later, you normally do not need to re-register in order to:

  • Attend lectures (newly registered students have priority if places are limited)
  • Register for exam
  • Activate yourself on the current course website
  • Submit assignments

If your latest registration is older than two years, you need to re-register to access these functions.

When do you need to be re-registered?

If your most recent registration was before VT24, you need to re-register to be able to sign up for exams.

Re-registration may also be required for other reasons, especially if you are not registered on other courses at SU:

  • Student financial aid (see CSN’s information on registration requirements)
  • Student housing (details may vary depending on the landlord)
  • Student insurance
  • To maintain student status on your university account, you must have been registered on a course at SU within the last 3 semesters.

For any problems or questions, please contact the student affairs office.

If you have previously withdrawn from the course

To be able to have your results registered, we need to remove the withdrawal in Ladok.

Fill out the form and select “Yes” for the question:
I have been admitted and registered, but have withdrawn from the course in Ladok.

If you want to re-register for reasons such as CSN, student housing, etc.

We only re-register active students who intend to study the course during the study period for which they are re-registered. To be eligible for re-registration, you must:

  • Have shown activity, e.g., participated in an examination visible in Ladok since your last registration
  • If you have not shown activity but it is important for you to be re-registered, explain this in the “Other” field at the end of the form

After your application

Processing of applications starts 1–2 weeks before the start of the semester, i.e., in August for Autumn and in January for Spring.

We aim to respond to all applicants with a decision. Emails will be sent from the student affairs office. Also check your own Ladok to confirm that you have been re-registered on the course.
